The Peter and Irene Ludwig Gift. ZILART

On September 5, 2026, the ZILART Museum will open “The Russian Museum at ZILART. Masterpieces of the Second Half of the 20th Century. The Peter and Irene Ludwig Gift”, an exhibition presenting more than 100 works from the renowned collection of German collectors Peter and Irene Ludwig in Moscow for the first time. The exhibition features works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Ilya Kabakov, Erik Bulatov, and other outstanding artists of the 20th century. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the collection in its original integrity and discover the history of one of the most significant private collections of contemporary art.
