LADY MACBETH OF MTSENSK. OPERA

The Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre presents Dmitry Shostakovich’s first edition of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk. This production marks a return to the composer’s original score, written when he was just 28 years old. The performance is led by stage director Alexander Titel and conductor Fedor Lednev, who recreate the atmosphere of intense emotional drama and stylistic variety of the opera’s early version.

Premiere dates are March 20–22, 2026.
